This is How to Reset Canon Pixma iP 1880 :
1. Press Resume button ( hold for 1 - 2 minutes )
2. Open the cover
3. Release the catridge and then put them on again
4. Close The Cover...
5. Turn Off, then Turn On

How to turn on Ipad Suddenly Shutdown Turn Off itself

I have this bizarre experience a week after getting my Ipad from the Apple store. What happened was when playing the Ipad suddenly shutdown or turn off by itself out of the blue. I tried to turn it on again using the power button but it wont do. Then i charged it for 8 hours as i thought the battery is weak, but still the Ipad wont turn on either.

Till then i thought there must be something wrong with the Ipad and i am starting to get worried if i have to send it to the Apple Store for fixing. I began to search the internet to search for the caused of the problem and probable solution. Fortunately i have found some info from one blog which i forgot the link. 

How to turn it on again is pretty simple: Just press and hold the power button + home button simultaneously for 10 second. The Ipad should be turn on again.

Looking back on 2007 iPhone Printing

Reflecting back on all the news from the printing and imaging industry in 2007 is a bit overwhelming. In my recent post (and Hard Copy Observer print column) about the Amazon Kindle, I summarized a few of these important hardware developments in the opening paragraph.

But one of of my most popular posts of the year, based on search results and keyword analysis, was my July 19 entry entitled "iPhone Printing". That post, and a few follow-ups, has been a consistently popular Web destination, which tells me there is definitely a demand for printing from the iPhone. Unfortunately, that post offers no solution for the unmet user need to print from an Apple iPhone, just relates the possible opportunity. Later in the year, I went back and forth with HP and their Print 2.0 blog, where Patrick Scaglia offered the promise of HPs Cloudprint solution, which promised a way to direct previously created documents to local printers, but not the kind of quick on-demand iPhone printing that others may have in mind.

So Ill make it a 2008 resolution to spend at least a bit of my time (and space in this blog) to champion the cause, for iPhone users like me to be able to get at least a quick print solution for the iPhone, and also check in on the HP Cloudprint solution that seems to have remained rather dormant since the companys flurry of activity in August/September.

Solution on Linksys WRT120N wont Reset problem

Did you forgot your Linksys WRT120N Wi-fi password? or your router log-in password? or did you mess up the router setting and no other choose but to hard reset the router? luckily your linksys WRT120N router reset button is not working! No matter how many times you press and hold the reset button the router just wont reset.

The problem is your Linksys WRT120N router have an old firmware. Your only solution here is to upgrade your router firmware, you can download here and then follow this steps.(note: this solution is useful if your reset button is not working)

Solution:

1. Power ON the router while holding the reset button. (the router boots but just the power LED is on) now, connect the UTP cable to port #1 (notice that the LED for port #4 is on)
2. After 30 to 60 seconds open a web browser and type in the address bar 192.168.1.1 to connect to router bootloader.
3. Then a router bootloader will appear that allows you to upload a new firmware. Navigate to the location of the latest firmware you download and click upload, wait for 1 to 2 minutes then restart the router using the restart button present on the same page(or turn OFF then ON the router)
4. When it is fully up press and hold the reset button for 5 sec and the LED flash.
5. Power OFF the router then power ON and your router is now reset to factory default.

How to Automatically Log On to windows

To automatically log-on to windows without needing to enter a username and password,

Type in RUN

it will open the user accounts application. On the Users tab, clear the box for “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer”, and click on OK.

Fixing error code oxc18a0206 on HP printers

This error appears on these printers: C7180, C7280,  C5180, C6150, Photosmart 3310, etc...

Solution 1:

• Press * and # at the same time
• Press 1, 2, 3 and “support R0632M” should display
• Press > and “information menu” should display
• Press > and “configuration menu” should display
• Press OK and “hardware failure status” should display
• Press OK “failure status: clear”. Press OK to clear
• Press CANCEL
• Press CANCEL
• Press CANCEL
• Turn printer off, unplug power cord for 2 minutes, plug cord back in then turn printer back on.

Solution 2:

• Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.
• Remove the cartridges from the product.
• Wait for the Insert Cartridges message to display on the control panel.
• Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
• Wait 60 seconds.
• Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button ( ).
• Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
• If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
• Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.

Fixing error code U140 U150 on canon printers

 

Solution 1:

• Open the paper output tray.
• Turn on the printer and open the scanning unit. The printer cartridge carriage will move to the center. Open the inner cover securing the cartridge in place by pulling it downward.
• Press the tab on the problematic ink cartridge and lift it to remove it from the printer. You will be able to tell which ink cartridge is causing the problem because its indicator light will be off or flashing.
• Open the replacement ink cartridge and pull the orange tape in the direction of the arrow to remove the protective film. Tear the orange tape off along the dotted line.
• Place the ink cartridges into the printer and press where indicated on the cartridge until it clicks into place. Ensure that all ink cartridges have a red indicator light showing that they are properly installed.
• Close the inner cover on the cartridge carriage and the scanning unit. The printer will automatically start a print head cleaning cycle. When the cleaning cycle is complete, the printer is ready to use.

Solution 2:

• Put the little green circuit board from the old ink cartridge of the same color in the new cartridge.

scanner error 30 01 19 on HP Laserjet 4100

Inverter PCB or scanning lamp failure.

Solutions:
- Verify that the scanning lamp briefly illuminates when the printer’s power is turned on.

- Verify that the scanning lamp fuse located on the Inverter PCB is not open.
- Check for loose connectors and frayed or pinched wires. Reseat the inverter connector at inverter PCB location CN2 and at scanner PCB location J1202.
- Replace the scanning lamp with a known functioning lamp. If the problem persists, replace the inverter PCB.

How to fix machine error AF on Brother printers

The scanner flat cable has to be reconnected to the main pcb.


- Open the printer scanner cover as you would do to change the carts.
- Unlock the blue support and lean the scanner towards a support ("L") open the small cover which will be found in the middle and goes to the left side.
- Beneath that is a white flat cable which simply has to be fixed into the main circuitboard (= pcb = printer circuit board).

Ink System Failure or a 0x Error Message on HP printers checking the cartridges

The ink system can fail if the cartridges in the printer are installed incorrectly, if the ink in the cartridge is low or out, or if the cartridges are damaged or not correctly vented. Follow these steps to check the cartridges thoroughly and resolve any issues you might find.

Step one: Replace empty or low cartridges

The error prevents you from checking ink levels using the HP software. However, this error can be caused by a low or empty cartridge. If the Ink Alert message displayed before the error occurred, replacing the cartridge might resolve the issue.

Step two: Make sure the cartridges are installed correctly

1. Turn on the product
2. Lift the cartridge access door to open it.
3. To remove the cartridge, press the tab on the front of the cartridge to release it, and then remove it from the slot.

   REMARQUE:

   Do not leave the cartridges outside the printer longer than 30 minutes. Doing so can result in damage to both the printer and the cartridges.

4. Examine the vent area, which is located on top of the cartridge, next to the HP logo.

5. If an orange tab is attached to any cartridge, remove it.

6. If any of the cartridges have clogged vents, use a pin to clean the vents.

7. Using the colored shape icons for help, slide each cartridge into the correct empty slot, and then press down until the cartridge snaps firmly into place in the slot.

8. Close the cartridge access door.
9. Check the product control panel display.

Step three: Use the automatic printhead cleaning utility

REMARQUE:

The automatic printhead cleaning utility is available only if you installed the HP software that came with your printer.

Follow these steps to use the cleaning utility:

1. Turn on the product, and then connect it to the computer.
2. In the Windows system tray, double-click the HP Digital Imaging Monitor (DIM) icon ( ).
   HP Solution Center opens in a new window.
3. In HP Solution Center, click Settings .
4. Under Print Settings , click Printer Toolbox . The Printer Toolbox opens.
5. Click Clean the Printhead , and then follow the on-screen instructions. The product prints a test page when the printhead cleaning completes.

If the print quality is acceptable on the test page then there is no need to continue to troubleshoot.
If the print quality is not acceptable, repeat the automatic printhead cleaning procedure again. If the print quality is still not acceptable, continue to the next solution.

How to solve ink system failure on HP 3110

Solution 1:
- Hold down the "OK", "Cancel", "Black", and "Color" buttons at the same time and turn the printer off.
- Keep holding the buttons down until the printer shuts off and turn it back on.
- Turn the printer off twice and then it will recalibrate.
- Make sure there are new cartridges in the printer so that it can reset.

Solution 2:

- Remove the cartridges from the product.
- Wait for the Insert Cartridges message to display on the control panel.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
