That is when i notice the ip address always changing on the printer and it is never the same from one time to the next and now my ipad 2 is 10.0.0.2 and say for today it is on the printer 10.0.0.4 and i believe this might be the problem, but then when the print ip does come in on the 10.0.0.2 the ipad 2 still will not recognize it.. If both your ipad and printer are connected to the same wi-fi network and you still cannot get airprint to function, check your printer’s settings to see if you need to enable wireless printing..
